Hey! Trying to check in as much as possible. Lots of things have gone on the last few days. Kelly, I don't feel that you are checking my journal. I got from the trip. I went to a place called Coonoor. It was one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. It was a long drive, maybe 8-10 hours. It was up on this mountain. You must enter the forest range. So BEAUTIFUL!!! The trees are everywhere. Such big trees! If you don't know, I am I tree lover. You would be lucky to see elephants once but we saw them FIVE times! It's just amazing to see wild elephants in their natural habitat. We didn't get such a close look though because the driver was too much a wimp to slow down. The elephants might attack in defense, naturally. Corey, now I understand why you use "naturally" so much. You picked it up from A Separate Peace. It's said so much that you begin saying it, naturally. Anyway, he could of slowed down for a minute. I would of. The mountains were beautiful as well. Coonoor is a small village. Nice to visit but not to live considering the majority of the people are poor. We stayed in this nice resort. It's a building from the 1800s converted into a hotel. The building was built by the British when they were in control of India. We also so wild deer, monkeys and peacocks. Well, of course monkeys because they are all over India. You know how there are wild ducks all over that one hotel, think about wild monkies with their babies. haha. The day before we left, I went on this really fast motercycle with this guy I just met. My cousins know him. Anyway, the motorcycle goes really really fast so it was really really fun. They stopped making that motorcycle because it was so dangerous. His dad took it away from him before and just gave it back. I tried Vodka. It was actually very good. The first night, I didn't get a glass but I kept taking random sips from my cousin's glasses. One of my cousins kept on handing me the glass. The next night my uncle actually fixed me a glass. Shocking! I could of had another glass but I didn't. It was vodka mixed with 7-up. That same night there was this private party. Me and some of my cousins got in because no one was really checking if you were invited or not. In the beginning, They were only playing Hindi and oldies. Corey, you would have loved the oldies. They started playing western music later. I don't know how to dance to Hindi. We were at the party til 2 in the morning. Fun night. Things are so much different when I go alone versus going with my parents and brother. There are so many more things I can do. I wish you could read this Corey, but I hope you're having lots of fun in Alaska. Go dogsledding or I'll be very mad because I didn't get to go because of the damn weather. I heard about the terrible news. I can't believe Corey and I weren't there when Ricky died. I'm so sorry Bethany. At least he lived a long life. I don't want tom leave this journal on a sad note though! Ricky will always be remembered. This summer has been very different from the rest. I feel a bit more independent and refreshed. I don't want to lay around doing nothing anymore so when I get back we are all going to do something new and change are boring lives. OK?!?!!? I'm so sick of just wanting to do something and never doing it. Anyway, I hope you guys are having fun this summer. Don't mourn over Ricky too long, Poof. What happens happens and one day we will all be gone and whatever happens next happens. We need to continue working on that song as well, Bethany! Write a comment so I know you guys know I'm still writing. poop.
